LEKZ55 started out as just me drawing Polynesian influenced art and posting it on Instagram. I grew up with a pencil in my hand and because I was a shy kid my art spoke for me. I never took any art classes outside of elementary and middle school. Definitely, wish I had tho’.I was born in American Samoa but grew up back and forth between there and Alaska. I didn’t speak Samoan fluently and only understood enough to guess the gist of what people said. Art was a release for me but it was also something that helped me learn more about my culture. Art taught me about the pacific parts of me I didn’t understand through words.I met my beautiful wife at the end of 2016 and we were married the following year. She was the gasoline that ignited the huge fireball of growth for me to really make my art available. Then in 2018, we welcomed the newest member of our team, our sweet baby girl.

In June of 2019 we officially launched our business and we haven’t looked back since. We continue to learn and grow with each new project and each new challenge. We hope to continue to grow this business and welcome you to our family.
